abstract |
The present invention provides a multi-layer packaged article that is excellent in pinhole resistance and transparency. Specifically, the present invention provides a multi-layer packaged article wherein a material is packaged with a multi-layer film having a layer comprising an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer and the film is irradiated by ionizing radiation of 1 to 50 kGy at 10° C. or lower. In preferable embodiments of the present invention, the multi-layer film has a layer structure comprising a layer of linear low density polyethylene placed directly or via an adhesive layer on both faces of the layer containing EVOH and is subjected to ionizing radiation under an atmosphere of −40 to 5° C. Also, the ionizing radiation is preferably γ rays. |
