The present invention utilizes a compound having a K ATP channel opening effect and/or an NO donating effect as an active ingredient to provide an inhibitor of apoptosis in cardiac myocytes, a therapeutic agent for ischemic reperfusion injury, a therapeutic agent for myocardial infarction, a therapeutic agent for myocardiopathy and a therapeutic agent for myocarditis. The present invention also provides a method for screening a compound having at least one of the effects of inhibiting apoptosis in cardiac myocytes, inhibiting ischemic reperfusion injury, inhibiting myocardial infarction, inhibiting myocardiopathy and inhibiting myocarditis. |
