abstract The present invention relates to a centrifugal separator in which a sampling-container locking part connected to the rotary shaft of a motor is rotated with the rotation of the motor driven by a dry cell. The sampling-container locking part includes a connecting part that connects to the rotary shaft and tongue pieces arranged to project oppositely at an angle of at least about 10 to 60 degrees from the upper flat part of the connecting part, with the connecting part interposed therebetween, each having a hole capable of locking a sampling container. The motor is rotated, with the sampling container inserted in the hole, to thereby centrifuge a sample in the sampling container.
