abstract A dimmable flex arm lamp for effecting task lamp functions and/or light therapy treatments. The dimmable flex arm lamp includes a base member configured to provide stabilized support for the lamp, a light holding member, a fluorescent full spectrum light removably mounted in the light holding member, a stem with a flexible portion longitudinally extending from the base member, an end of the stem being interconnected with the base, and an end of the flexible portion being interconnected with the light holding member. The dimmable flex arm lamp also includes a dimming control and is configured to effect task lamp functions and/or light therapy treatments.
