abstract | A process for producing an alkoxysilane-based compound having the general formula: n n n wherein, R 1 is an unsubstituted or substituted monovalent hydrocarbon group of 1 to 20 carbon atoms which may contain an ether linkage oxygen atom, or a group of a formula: R 2 O— where R is an unsubstituted or substituted monovalent hydrocarbon group of 1 to 20 carbon atoms which may contain an ether linkage oxygen atom, R 3 has an identical definition to that of R 1 , a is 0 or 1, and n is 1, 2, or 3, wherein (a) an alcohol compound of the formula (1): n n n wherein, R 1 and a are as defined above, and (b) a halogenated organosilicon compound of the general formula (2): n X n —SiR 3 ) 4-n (2) n wherein, R 3 and n are as defined above, and X is a chlorine, bromine or iodine atom, are subjected to a dehydrohalogenation reaction in presence of (c1) a tertiary amine other than (c2) described below, and (c2) 1,8-diazabicyclo[5.4.0]undecene-7 and/or 1,5-diazabicyclo[4.3.0]nonene-5. |
