Non-aqueous primary battery |
abstract |
A non-aqueous primary cell intended to increase the discharge capacity and lower the operating voltage while reducing the size and weight is provided. n A non-aqueous primary cell contains a positive active material containing nickel oxyhydroxide as a main component and a negative active material composed of a light metal, and a non-aqueous electrolyte. The positive and negative active materials are disposed between a positive terminal and a negative terminal while being separated from each other by means of a separator. A positive mix forming said positive active material contains at least a conductive agent and a binder. The content of said conductive agent is in a range of 5 to 30 wt % on the basis of the total weight of said positive mix, and the content of said binder is in a range of 1 to 10 wt % on the total weight of said positive mix. With this configuration, it is possible to realize a non-aqueous primary cell capable of increasing the discharge capacity, lowering the operating voltage, and shortening the time required for preliminary discharge. |
