titleOfInvention | Method and system for detecting radiation from wireless communication devices employing microorganisms |
abstract | A method and system for detecting or quantifying biologically effective radiation emitted from an activated wireless communication device such as a cellular phone or the antenna of a cellular phone. The method uses microorganismal cells producing a detectable response when exposed to biologically effective radiation. The device is placed a predetermined distance from microorganismal cells and then activated for a predetermined amount of time. At the end of the predetermined amount of time, it is determined whether the response was produced in the cells. Production of the response indicates that the device emitted biologically effective radiation. |
