The present invention is a thermal storage medium obtained by dispersing, in an oil-in-water manner, a mixture comprising an oil substance having a thermal storing property by phase change, an aqueous medium and a dispersant, wherein an amount of change in a volume average particle diameter of a dispersion of said oil substance after carrying out a 50 times of repetition of solidification/melting by phase change is within ±50% relative to a volume average particle diameter before carrying out the repetition of solidification/melting. |
