abstract A method for producing polyolefin-based adhesive resins having improved physical and optical properties and the improved adhesive resins thereby produced, eliminates at least one reheating and melting of polyolefin polymer, comprises polymerizing a monomer composition of at least one olefin, mixing the polymerization product without pelletizing the polyolefin polymer with at least one graft polymer or copolymer in a heated mixing device at a temperature above the melting point of the components, and recovering the resulting polyolefin-based adhesive resin.
