abstract |
A novel human voltage-gated potassium channel subunit is provided. A full length cDNA which encodes the novel potassium channel polypeptide is disclosed as well as the interior structural region and the amino acid residue sequence of the voltage-gated potassium channel biomolecule. Methods are provided to identify compounds that modulate the pharmacological activity of the potassium channel subunit and hence regulate potassium channel biological activity. |
