Nirtic oxide donors based on metallic centres |
abstract |
The invention relates to ligand complexes characterised by the presence of a piperazineNONOate residue with metal cations where the cations derive from a transition metal or zinc in a stable oxidation state. These complexes are nitric oxide donors and exert an endothelio-protective effect on the coronary district and stimulate re-endothelialization and angiogenesis processes. The invention comprises a preparation process and the therapeutic use of said compounds. |
