A composition for an ink-receiving layer comprising: (A) an aqueous polyurethane resin having a polycarbonate chain; (B) at least one pigment selected from the group consisting of silica, alumina, calcium carbonate and clay; and at least one of (C) a phenolic antioxidant and (D) a hindered amine ultraviolet absorber. Also disclosed are a recording material having an ink-receiving layer comprising the composition, and printed matter obtained from the recording material. |
