abstract |
A method for producing an ester that comprises reacting an alcohol with a carboxylic acid to obtain a crude esterified product; and adding 5 to 100 parts by weight of a hydrocarbon solvent with respect to 100 parts by weight of the crude esterified product and performing neutralization with an alkali aqueous solution. An alcohol solvent can be added, if necessary. Thus, a-method for producing ester is provided in which a high-quality ester can be obtained with high yield. |
