A double sided adhesive tape for mounting printing plates, especially multilayer photopolymer printing plates, to printing cylinders or sleeves, the carrier of the adhesive tape being a polyethylene terephthalate (PET) film and self-adhesive coatings being applied to both sides of the film, wherein the surface of the polyethylene terephthalate (PET) film is at least partly roughened on one or both sides using a reagent and/or the surface energy of the surface of the film is increased. |
