abstract |
A method for spot cleaning a fabric with a liquid cleaning composition which does not require a rinse step and is suitable to clean garments while they are being worn, the method comprising the steps of n a) applying the composition to the fabric n wherein the liquid cleaning composition comprises n i) from 0 to 0.1 wt. % of a surfactant; n ii) an effective amount of a thickener such that the liquid cleaning composition has a viscosity of from 0.1 mPaS to 1000 mPaS at a shear rate of 100/s; and n b) absorbing the excess liquid cleaning composition with an absorbent means. |
