titleOfInvention | Novel polypeptides and polynucleotides and methods of using them |
abstract | Novel isolated Sox18 molecules are described for use in modulating cell differentiation, vasculogenesis, angiogenesis and/or hair follicle development, and in compositions for treating and/or preventing conditions that are associated, at least in part, with aberrant Sox18 expression or that are ameliorable, at least in part, by modulation of Sox18 expression as described hereinafter. The present invention also describes modulatory agents that modulate the expression of subgroup F Sox genes and to the use of these agents for prophylactic and/or therapeutic purposes. Further, the invention describes antigen-binding molecules that are immuno-interactive with the polypeptides of the invention. |
