Pickering emulsions, which are finely disperse systems of the water-in-oil or oil-in-water type, comprising n (1) an oil phase which comprises at least 0.5% by weight, based on the weight of the oil phase, of at least one oil component selected from the group consisting of oils having viscosities of less than 30 mPa·s, n (2) a water phase, n (3) at least one type of microfine particles which n a) have an average particle size of less than 200 nm, which n b) display both hydrophilic and lipophilic properties, and are dispersible both in water and in oil and which n c) have optionally been coated on the surface, and n (4) at most 0.5% by weight of one or more emulsifiers. |
