In particular, tannic acid, glycyrrhizin and acesulfame potassium are added to compositions comprising minerals such as potassium, calcium, magnesium, iron, copper, chromium, zinc, and mixtures in order to reduce or eliminate the unpleasant taste or aftertaste associated with these minerals.
