A dry composition of an ionophore antibiotic such as monensin comprising n from 10 to 95% (when expressed as the sodium salt) of at least one crystalline ionophore antibiotic, n from 0 to 10% antifoam agent(s), n from 0.1 to 20% wetting and/or surfactant agent(s), n from 0.1 to 10% dispersal agent(s), and n from 0.1 to 20% suspension agent(s). n The use of the composition is as a suspension in water alone or in conjunction with a milk replacer composition and/or a milk extender composition in water as a calf feed composition. |
