The present invention relates to a substantially dry, disposable personal care article comprising: n a. a water insoluble substrate comprising a nonwoven layer; and n b. a therapeutic benefit component, disposed adjacent to said water insoluble substrate, wherein said component comprises from about 10% to about 1000%, by weight of the water insoluble substrate, of a therapeutic benefit composition comprising: n c) a safe and effective amount of a cationic polymer exhibiting a Relative Hydrophobic Contribution of from about 0.2 to about 1.0; n d) a safe and effective amount of an anionic surfactant; n wherein said composition forms a coacervate when said article is exposed to water. n These articles have been found to be particularly useful for personal cleansing applications, namely for the skin and hair. Thus, the present invention further relates to methods of cleansing and/or therapeutically treating (e.g., conditioning) skin and hair utilizing the articles of the present invention. |
