abstract An object of the present invention is to provide pharmacological compound including a component having pressure reductive activity obtained from Mycoleptodonoides aitchisonii fruit body which is safe and cheap, harvested constantly year-round by artificial cultivation, with equal quality, and useful for prevention and/or amelioration of symptom of hypertension caused by angiotensin I converting enzyme or the like, also to provide food or beverage such as functional drinks including the pharmacological compound and having pressure reductive activity as well as excellent palatability. n The object will be attained by preparing food and beverage by using a compound including component having pressure reductive activity obtained from Mycoleptodonoides aitchisonii fruit body, preferably artificially cultivated, especially fungi bed cultivated Mycoleptodonoides aitchisonii fruit body. For example, pharmacological compound including hydrothermal extracted extract juice or extract of fruit body as an effective component useful for prevention and/or symptom amelioration of hypertension, or to prepare food or beverage using the pharmacological compound. Especially when preparing beverage, formation of flocks or browning during storage can be repressed by performing purifying treatment such as bentonite treatment or alcohol treatment or the like after hydrothermal extraction.
