titleOfInvention Airflow-channeling surgical light system and method
abstract A light system includes a main body defining an internal chamber and a lighting assembly secured to the main body, wherein the lighting assembly comprises at least one light unit configured to emit light. The light system further includes a fan configured to generate an airflow and an airflow circuit configured to direct the airflow out of the main body of the lighting assembly. The light system also includes a tilt detection unit configured to detect a tilt angle of the lighting assembly and to generate a control signal to cause a speed of the airflow generated by the fan to change based at least on a detected change in the tilt angle of the lighting assembly.
