abstract | A lighting system is disclosed. The example lighting system includes a plurality of LED lighting devices, where at least one of the LED lighting devices includes a same or different colored LED than a LED in at least one of the other LED lighting devices. The lighting system also includes a plurality of data communication circuits, where at least one of the data communication circuits is configured to transmit data signals to or receive data signals from at least one telecommunications device that comprises a circuit configured to detect human touch via capacitive sensing. The at least one data communication circuit is integrated in at least one of the LED lighting devices of the plurality of LED lighting devices. Additionally, the at least one telecommunication device is configured to control a brightness level of at least one of the LED lighting devices via the at least one data communication circuit. |
