abstract | A diagnostic system for measuring and analyzing startle response of a subject comprises a stimuli delivery circuitry, whereby startle stimuli and prepulse stimuli are delivered to the subject. Said diagnostic system comprises at least one sensor circuitry, whereby the startle response(s) of the subject are detected and recorded. Said sensor circuitry comprises at least one electrode and one eye response measuring system, such as a camera. Said diagnostic system comprises a diagnosis circuitry whereby the features of the startle response(s) and prepulse inhibition of the subject are extracted and analyzed. Said startle response(s) of said subject detected by said sensor circuitry comprise eye response, such as pupillary response and/or eyeblink response, post-auricular muscle response and intrinsic auricular muscle response. |
