abstract Systems and methods for treating musculoskeletal disorders of the spinopelvic anatomy including treating spinal deformities by spinopelvic fixation including fusion of the sacroiliac joint at the base of long spinal fusion construct cases. The system may include implants designed to be used as an adjunct to long spinal fusions to further the immobilization and stabilization of the sacroiliac joint. The implants may be designed to augment an S2AI screw and an S1 screw in order to improve durability of the foundation of the spinal construct. The implants may have a triangular cross section.
