Provided is an antibody that binds to human interleukin-2 (hIL-2), and more particularly to an anti-hIL-2 antibody that binds specifically to a particular epitope of hIL-2, thereby inhibiting the binding of the hIL-2 to CD25. n The anti-hIL-2 antibody of the subject matter binds specifically to a particular epitope of hIL-2, thereby inhibiting the binding of the hIL-2 to CD25, thereby minimizing expansion of Treg cells. In addition, it stimulates the CD8 + T cells and NK cells that exhibit anti-tumor activity. Thus, the anti-hIL-2 antibody of the present invention is useful as a new anticancer therapeutic agent. |
