abstract Systems and a method are disclosed for improved 3D visualization on a head display unit. Exemplary features include filtering of the volume of interest and viewing the filtered volume of interest via a head display unit with a left eye display and a right eye display. Additional options include zooming and rotating. These features at least improve display of the 3D images to a user.
