abstract The present invention provides an organic electroluminescent display device that further suppresses reflection of external light and a change in tint in a case of being viewed in an oblique direction, a phase difference film, and a circularly polarizing plate. This organic electroluminescent display device has an organic electroluminescent display panel and a circularly polarizing plate. The circularly polarizing plate has a polarizer and a phase difference film. The phase difference film has, from the polarizer side, a positive A-plate, a first positive C-plate, and a λ/4 plate. The positive A-plate and the first positive C-plate have predetermined optical properties. The in-plane slow axis of the positive A-plate and the absorption axis of the polarizer are orthogonal to each other. The angle formed between the in-plane slow axis of the positive A-plate and the in-plane slow axis of the λ/4 A plate is 45°±10°.
