abstract Remotely detecting the presence of urine or feces in a diaper of an infant or adult using a disposable sensor placed inside the diaper, in conjunction with a permanent device that is capable of wirelessly transmitting data to a mobile device or base station is disclosed. The permanent device can also be capable of measuring temperature and body movements. This additional information can be used in conjunction with the detection of urine or feces to identify patterns.
