abstract An integrated color imaging system has a housing with an objective lens, photocathode and image intensifier. The image intensifier has radiation sensitive sensors and a phosphor screen. A rotatable first filter wheel is located between the objective lens and the photocathode. The first filter wheel can include first channels selectively positionable in an optical path of the image, and at least one of the first channels is clear and unfiltered. A rotatable second filter wheel can be located inside the housing between the phosphor screen and an eyepiece lens of the housing. The second filter wheel can include second channels selectively positionable in the optical path between the phosphor screen and the eyepiece lens, and at least one of the second channels is clear and unfiltered. The clear and unfiltered channels of the first and second filter wheels can be selectively aligned and held in the optical path.
