abstract |
A new family of a microporous crystalline metallophosphate-based materials designated SAPO-80 has been synthesized. These metallophosphate-based materials are represented by the empirical formulan nR p+ r M w 2+ E x PSi y O z n nwhere R is a quaternary ammonium cation such as α,α′-bis(dimethylethylammonium)-p-xylene, E is a framework element such as aluminum or gallium and the framework may optionally contain a divalent framework metal M such as magnesium or zinc. The microporous SAPO-80 compositions are characterized by having the AFX topology and have catalytic properties for carrying out various hydrocarbon conversion processes and separating properties for separating at least one component. |
