abstract A liquid detergent composition having a pH of from 7.1 to 7.9 as measured at 10% solution in distilled water at 20° C. wherein the composition includes a surfactant system, the surfactant system including an anionic surfactant and a primary co-surfactant selected from the group consisting of amphoteric surfactant, zwitteronic surfactant and mixtures thereof wherein the anionic surfactant and the primary co-surfactant are in a weight ratio of from less than about 10:1 to more than about 2.5:1 and wherein the composition further includes a specific cyclic diamine.
