The light emitting layer is a layer containing an iridium complex (A) and a heterocyclic compound constituted of typical elements (B), the hole transporting layer is a layer containing a crosslinked body of a crosslinkable material. The molecular weight (MA) of the iridium complex (A) and the molecular weight (MB) of the heterocyclic compound (B) satisfy the formula 2700≤MA+MB≤10000 (M1-1) and the formula 0.35≤MA/MB≤3.00 (M2-1).
