Stable solution of hexamidine salts in alkanediol-water mixtures, with antimicrobial and skin-moisturising effect |
abstract |
The invention relates to a temperature-stable solution consisting ofn a) 0.1-10% by weight of at least one hexamidine salt, b) 40-95% by weight of an alkanediol having a C3 to C5 carbon chain and a C log P of −0.2 to −1.1, c) 5-60% by weight of water and d) one or more additives to adjust the pH of the solution to 3.0 to 6.0 inclusive,n wherein the total amount of components a) to d) is 100% by weight. |
