The compositions comprise polyurethane microparticles coated with zinc salt particles, wherein the ratio of zinc salt to polyurethane is in a range of from 1:99 to 3:7, and the polyurethane microparticles have an average particle size of less than 100 microns. Also provided are methods of preparation of such compositions.
