A fused aromatic derivative shown by the following formula (1): n nwherein R a and R b are independently a hydrogen atom or a substituent, p is an integer of 1 to 8 and q is an integer of 1 to 11, and when p and q are two or more, R a s and R b s may be independently the same or different, and adjacent substituents R a s may form a ring, L 1 is a single bond or a substituted or unsubstituted divalent linking group, and Ar 1 is a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group having 6 to 50 ring carbon atoms or a substituted or unsubstituted heteroaryl group having 5 to 50 ring atoms, provided that when L 1 is a single bond and at least one of R a s is not a hydrogen atom, Ar 1 is not a triphenylenyl group, and provided that substituents of L 1 and Ar 1 , and R a and R b contain no amino group. |
