abstract The invention provides carpet bonding agents with improved flow properties and improved strength and physical properties when compared to conventional binder systems for carpets. Thus, in various embodiments, the invention provides an adhesive formulation comprising a carpet latex formulation; a plasticized carpet latex; a waterproof additive; a defoamer; and an antibacterial. The invention also provides uses of the materials and combinations of the materials described herein.
