titleOfInvention HYDROGALOGENID COMPLEX OF AGOMELATIN AND METHOD OF ITS PREPARATION
abstract This invention relates to a hydrohalide complex of agomelatine and a method for its preparation. The agomelatine hydrohalide complex obtained using this method is more soluble, more stable and has a better degree of purity than agomelatine per se, which makes it more suitable for use in pharmaceutical preparations. Using the disclosed method, a product with a better degree of purity can be obtained using an uncomplicated method without involving additional difficult steps.
