abstract The invention relates to the construction industry, namely, additives for building materials: accelerators of setting the cement paste and hardening of concrete and mortar. The objective of the invention is to expand the range of additives for concrete and mortar. The additive to concretes and building mixtures contains spent absorption solutions of the arsenic-soda method for the desulfurization of coke oven gas, which are formed after neutralizing the absorption solution with sulfuric acid, filtering arsenic and sulfur sulfides from the precipitate, and neutralizing the filtrate with an alkaline compound.
