abstract Presented is a composition comprising: (a) at least one cyclopropene / molecular encapsulating agent complex and (b) at least one non-calcium chloride salt, where the weight ratio of said salt in the dry state and the weight of the above cyclopropene / molecular encapsulating agent complex in the dry state is from 0.03 to 500. In this composition (i) the mass fraction of water is 30 or less percent, based on the weight of the above composition, and at least one of the above salts is not hygroscopic, or (ii) mass share of water mills Number more than 30 percent, based on the weight of the above composition, while the weight ratio of said salt in the dry state and said water is 0.05 or more. Methods for storing and using such formulations are also provided. .
