The invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition which is capable of forming a film upon topical application, wherein said composition comprises a composition of a pharmaceutical agent, a solvent for it, a film forming agent and a propellant, where the composition is monophasic and the pharmaceutical agent is present in a substantially saturating amount under conditions of use, wherein the pharmaceutical agent is present at a saturation value of at least 80%, wherein the film-forming agent is selected from the group which remains from polyvinylpyrrolidone, polyvinyl alcohol, acrylic polymers, acrylic copolymers, methacrylate polymers, methacrylate copolymers, polyvinyl acetate, cellulose-based polymers and cellulose-based copolymers, in an amount of from 0.1 to 40% w / w. inclusive. |
