The installation for the synthesis of titanium dioxide contains a plasma torch connected to an oxygen source, a plasma-chemical reactor connected to the flow capacity of titanium tetrachloride, a quenching chamber with a pneumatic pulse generator installed in the lower part, a tube-in-tube heat exchanger, coaxially connected directly to the quenching radial outlet cameras, a cyclone made with a stilling chamber, and a filter. In the middle zone of the plasma chemical reactor vessel, nozzles for introducing titanium tetrachloride are installed, below the level of which an annular nozzle is made in the form of a wall annular channel with an annular collector for introducing protective gas-oxygen, which forms a thin vortex ball of a protective gas curtain. |
