abstract A method of obtaining a nanobioflocculant for the extraction of ultra-fine gold involves the accumulation of biomass cells of microalgae Chlorella vulgaris Beijer. followed by separation of biomass from the nutrient medium. The resulting biomass of intact cells of microalgae is treated with iron-containing electrolyte to accumulate formed in the cells of nanoparticles of iron compounds in an amount of 0.1-1.0% wt. on iron, followed by separation from the electrolyte solution.
