The invention relates to a method for producing at least one organic compound containing at least 3 carbon atoms or at least 2 carbon atoms and at least 1 nitrogen atom, by fermentation, comprising the following steps: a1) grinding of starch-containing raw materials starch-containing raw materials not containing starch; a2) suspending the crushed material in an aqueous liquid and diluting the crushed material contained in the aqueous liquid in the presence of at least one starch-diluting enzyme, to obtain a dextrin-containing medium (1) and at least a portion of the starch-containing solid components, contain starch; and b) the use of an aqueous medium (1) containing dextrin in fermentation to cultivate a microorganism capable of reproducing an organic compound; moreover, enzymes that hydrolyze dextrins to monosaccharides do not add or add less than 0.001 wt. %, based on the total weight of the starch medium used. |
