abstract | The invention concerns technology of pigments which are used in paint-and-lacquer or paper industries, in the production of building materials, ceramics, plastics and other industries of national economy. A method for the surface treatment of pigment titanium dioxide includes treatment of suspension thereof at heating with water -soluble aluminium compounds, filtration, washing, drying and milling the of pigment. As water-soluble aluminium compounds aluminium sulfate and sodium aluminate are used, which are delivered to suspension treatment of titanium dioxide at constant mixing, at that sodium aluminate dosage is conducted in two stages. Before drying surface-active substances are incorporated to the paste of titanium dioxide. The use of invention allows to increase quality of product and decrease its prime price. |
