METHOD FOR OBTAINING TUNGSTEN BRONZE CsP8W8O40 |
abstract |
The method for obtaining the tungsten bronze CsP8W8Ä40 provides for mixing the equimolar amounts of tungsten trioxide (WO3), cesium-containing compound, and phosphorus-containing compound followed by heating the mixture to the temperature of crystallization of CsP8W8Ä40. Furthermore, the equimolar amounts (4-20 mass %) of tungsten dioxide (WO2) and cesium chloride (CsCl) are added to the mixture. Cs2O is used as cesium-containing compound, while P2O5 is used as phosphorus-containing compound. The heating of the mixture is performed under the pressure of not less than 2.5 HPa. |
