Described are compounds of formula (1.0.0), (1.0.0) in which A means A1-NHC (= O) NH-A2-, where A2 is phenyl and A1 is phenyl or pyridyl, where each is optionally substituted 1 or 2 R10, Y means -C (= O) -, B means an element independently selected from the group consisting of the following elements: E means a simple bond, -CH = CH- or a substituent of formula (1.9.0), ( 1.9.0) in which R1a means hydrogen in the case where R1 means a monovalent substituent, and R1a means a simple bond when R1 means a divalent substituent. Such compounds are used in methods of treating or preventing inflammatory, autoimmune or respiratory diseases by inhibiting cell adhesion and associated or related pathogenic processes, which are subsequently mediated by the VLA-4 antigen. |
