titleOfInvention METHOD FOR PRODUCING ANALOGUES OF MURAMIC ACID AND THEIR DERIVATIVES
abstract A method of obtaining analogues of muramic acid and their derivatives includes 3-O-alkylation of a protected derivative of N-acetyl-D-glucosamine. The target substances are synthesized by intramolecular 3-O-alkylation in pre-prepared derivatives of N-acylated D-glucosamine, in which a fragment of α-halogenocarboxylic acid is present as the N-acyl residue, for which these compounds are treated with a solution of potassium tert-butylate in tert-butyl alcohol . The resulting lactams are acetylated with an excess of acetyl chloride in the presence of ethyldiisopropylamine, after which the obtained N-acetyl derivatives are subjected to methanolysis under the influence of a methanol solution of sodium methylate or a solution of triethylamine in methanol.
