abstract |
The biological method for producing 7-aminodesacetoxycephalosporanic acid (7-ADCA) includes the following stages: a) maintaining the Penicillium chrysogenum strain that produces isopenicillin N in a culture medium capable of supporting its growth. Adding to the specified culture medium adipate-containing raw materials containing adipic acid or one or more of its salts and esters, which can be absorbed and utilized by the specified strain of Penicillium chrysogenum with the production of adipoyl-6-aminopenicillic acid (adipoyl-6-APA), whereby the specified adipoyl-6-APA is produced; b) interaction of said adipoyl-7-ADCA with adipoyl acylase, whereby the adipoyl side chain is removed and a 7-ADCA product is formed. The specified product is further isolated. |
