A way to improve the quality parameters of blast furnace coke by spraying on pieces of blast furnace coke at a temperature of 20-50 ° C a 2-20% aqueous solution of tetraborate selected from the series: sodium tetraborate, potassium tetraborate, calcium tetraborate, in such a volume that the amount of dry tetraborate in corresponded to coke 0.05-0.50% (wt.) in terms of coke, and 0.1-0.2% of a non-inogenous surfactant is added to the aqueous solution of tetraborate, and such a volume of solution is used for processing that the amount of surface -how of active substance in coke corresponded to 0.0035-0.0070% (wt.) in terms of coke. |
